XL2 Remote Control via Web Browser
Remote monitoring of noise is getting easier: the XL2
Sound Level Meter can now be remotely controlled directly from a web
browser. Level measurements can be executed remotely from your desk
at home as if you were standing next to the instrument. Also, all
recorded measurement data is immediately available for download.
The XL2 Sound Level Meter offers an abundant range of functions
for acoustic, audio and noise measurements. The meter can now be
operated through a web browser. To set this up, the XL2 is simply
connected to a NetBox, which transmits the data via 3G or LAN - you
instantly see the display of the XL2 live on your smartphone or
computer. The remote access allows full control of the instrument.
Data Analysis Made Easy All measurement data
is stored locally on the XL2 Sound Level Meter. The available
storage space and the current supply voltage are indicated in the
web browser. While the measurement is in progress, the data can be
manually downloaded to a local computer - this includes all levels,
third-octave spectral data and audio files. Alternatively, the
measurement data may be scheduled to automatically download to your
data server, for example, every night. This can be done with any FTP
software that supports the secure SFTP protocol.
