Larger Memory for Minirator MR-PRO
The Minirator MR-PRO is now equipped with an extended mass storage, allowing storage of 16 times more tests signals than the previous version.
The extended memory capacity of 512 MB enables clients to store all their important audio test signals, audio announcement and favorite listening tracks of up to 80 minutes in the non-volatile memory. All earlier MR-PRO units can be factory upgraded with the new 512 MByte memory. For more details please contact the authorized Minstruments service locations in your country. |

New Firmware for Minirator MR-PRO and MR2
The signal generator MR-PRO enables individual wave-file upload to the internal memory e.g. required for listening to the favorite music track at setting up an audio system. Besides the already previously supported Windows system offers the new firmware version 2.10 now also compatibility with the Apple Macintosh computer to upload such customized wave-files.
The new firmware V2.10 features:

- Macintosh compatibility, supporting OS versions 10.4 onwards running on G4 / G5 as well as the new X86 architectures
- Impedance measurement handling power calculations for 35V, 140V and 200V distribution speaker systems, thus simplifying installations and load verifications
- Supporting low frequency 1 - 10 Hz Sine wave files required for vibration or seismic applications such as driving a vibration source. The wave file set with sinusoidal subsonic frequencies 1 – 10 Hz is available for download here.

- New level unit ”Volt” supporting easy settings of e.g. 100 mV

The instrument upgrade is supported by the "MR-Update" software. Customers may connect their online computer to the instrument and run the "MR-Update" software. The Minirator firmware will be installed automatically.
